About Anagram History

The Anagram History page tracks every Daily Anagram puzzle you have attempted on ScrabbleWordsFinder. Each day, a new five-to-eight-letter word is scrambled and presented as a challenge. You get five attempts to unscramble the letters and guess the correct word. Your results — including whether you solved the puzzle, how many attempts it took, and exactly how long you spent — are all recorded here for review.

Tracking your anagram performance over time is one of the most effective ways to measure improvement in pattern recognition, a core skill for competitive Scrabble players. Strong anagram-solvers can quickly spot bonus words (bingos) on their rack, giving them a scoring advantage in real games. By reviewing your solve rate, average attempts, and time-per-guess, you can identify whether your word recognition is improving or if specific letter combinations still trip you up.

The colour-coded guess feedback works similarly to popular word games: green indicates a correct letter in the correct position, yellow means the letter is in the word but misplaced, and grey means the letter is not present. This visual feedback helps you learn common letter patterns and develop faster unscrambling intuition.

Your streak counter shows how many consecutive days you have successfully solved the Daily Anagram. Maintaining a streak builds the daily practice habit that separates casual players from serious competitors. All of this data is stored locally and synced to your player profile — completely free, no sign-up required, and accessible from any device where you play.
