You access Lex at /chat/. There is also an "Ask Lex" button available on every page of the site, so you are never more than one click away from coaching. It works on your phone, your tablet, your laptop — any device with a browser. No app to install, no account to create.

Game History Review — Coaching for Every Activity
One of Lex AI's most powerful features is automatic game history review. When you play any of the daily activities on ScrabbleWordsFinder — Word Quiz, Daily Rack Challenge, Daily Anagram, 60-Second Challenge, or Cows and Bulls — your performance data is saved locally. Lex can instantly access that history and provide personalised coaching.
The workflow is simple: go to the Activities page, find the game panel you want reviewed, and click the Lex coaching button. This takes you directly to /chat/ with your game history pre-loaded. Lex already knows what you played, how you scored, and where you struggled — no copy-pasting or manual entry required.
⚡ How It Works
Click the Lex coaching button on any game panel in Activities. It instantly opens /chat/ with your history pre-loaded via a context parameter. Lex reads your recent sessions, analyses patterns, and delivers tailored feedback — all within seconds of clicking.
Word Quiz Review: Lex analyses your quiz accuracy, response timing, and identifies weak vocabulary areas. It spots which word categories trip you up and suggests targeted study lists to close the gaps.
Daily Rack Challenge Review: Lex reviews your word choices from the 7-tile rack, compares them against the highest-scoring alternatives you missed, and explains the rack management principles behind optimal plays.
Daily Anagram Review: Lex reviews your solve times, tracks improvement trends, and hints at letter patterns that help you unscramble words faster. It identifies common anagram shapes you miss.
60-Second Challenge Review: Lex analyses your pace — words per minute, scoring efficiency, and whether you prioritised short easy words or hunted for high-value finds. It suggests speed strategies tailored to your style.
Cows and Bulls Review: Lex reviews your guess strategies — how efficiently you narrowed down letters, whether you used elimination logic, and how your deduction skills compare to optimal paths.
💡 Pro Tip
You do not need to navigate to /chat/ manually or remember URL parameters. Just click the Lex coaching button on any game panel in the Activities page. The context is loaded automatically — Lex knows exactly which game you want reviewed.
Coaching PDF Reports
Lex does not just give you verbal feedback. After analysing your game history, it can generate a structured coaching report that you download as a PDF. These reports break down your performance with clear sections: strengths identified, weaknesses spotted, specific words you should have played, and a practice plan for the coming week.
You can save up to 5 coaching reports locally in your browser. When the limit is reached, the oldest report is automatically replaced by the newest. If you want to manage your saved reports — view them, delete specific ones, or clear all — visit Settings → Coaching Reports 📋.

The Dojo — Four Training Modes
The Dojo is where casual players become competitive ones. It is a dedicated training environment within the Lex chat that offers four structured exercises designed to sharpen the exact skills that separate club players from kitchen-table players. Each exercise targets a different aspect of Scrabble mastery. You can run them in any order, as many times as you want.
🎯 Bingo Trainer
Lex gives you a random bingo-stem rack (7 tiles). Your job: find all valid 7-letter words. Builds the anagramming speed that leads to 50-point bonus plays in real games. The skill that separates 300-point games from 400-point games.
🪝 Hook Quiz
Given a word on the board, find all valid front hooks and back hooks. Mastering hooks lets you play parallel to existing words and score in multiple directions simultaneously. A must-know skill for tournament play.
🔢 Tile Countdown
After N moves have been played, Lex quizzes you on remaining tile counts. This trains the tile-tracking skill that tournament players use to predict opponent racks and make endgame decisions with confidence.
⚖️ Rack Leave Drill
Lex presents 2-3 possible plays from a rack. You pick which one leaves the best remaining tiles. This is the single most impactful skill for consistent high-level play — the difference between good and great.
🧠 Why Dojo Mode Works
Deliberate practice beats casual play for improvement. Playing games reinforces existing habits — good and bad. The Dojo isolates individual skills and drills them repeatedly until they become automatic. Ten minutes in the Dojo teaches you more than three casual games. That is how you go from "I know some words" to "I see the board differently."
📚 Dig Deeper
Word Finding — Solve Any Rack in the Chat
Sometimes you are mid-conversation with Lex about strategy and you want to quickly check what words you can make from a set of tiles. You do not need to navigate back to the main solver. Just type your tiles directly in the chat — something like "What words can I make from AEILNRT?" — and Lex returns the results right there in the conversation.
This is especially useful during coaching sessions. Lex might be reviewing your Daily Rack performance and you want to explore a specific combination. Or you are practising in the Dojo and want to verify an answer. The word-finding capability is always available, woven naturally into whatever conversation you are having.
✓ No Context Switching
Stay in the chat. No need to open a new tab, navigate to the solver, type your tiles again, then come back. Ask Lex and get answers inline.
✓ Natural Language
Ask however you want: "words from QZXJK", "what can I make with these tiles?", "solve AEIOU??". Lex understands all formats.
Automatic Word Identification
As you chat with Lex — whether you are reviewing games, running drills, or asking strategy questions — it automatically identifies words that are worth learning. These are words that appeared in your games, came up during training, or are relevant to the topic you are discussing. Lex highlights them as candidates for your Memory WordBench.
This passive learning layer means every conversation doubles as a vocabulary session. You do not need to actively hunt for new words to memorise. Lex surfaces them naturally, explains why they matter (high score, unusual letter combination, common bingo stem), and suggests you add them to your study list. Over time, this builds a personalised vocabulary that reflects your actual playing patterns and weak spots.
✓ Passive Vocabulary Building
Every coaching session, every Dojo drill, every strategy discussion — Lex is quietly identifying words you should know. It highlights them during conversation and explains their value. No extra effort required from you — just chat normally and your word list grows.
Recent Queries — Pick Up Where You Left Off
Lex saves your 10 most recent queries for quick access. When you open the chat, you can see what you asked last time and jump straight back into that thread. This is particularly useful for ongoing coaching — maybe yesterday you asked about rack management and today you want to continue that thread with new game data.
The recent queries list also serves as a quick launcher for common requests. If you frequently ask "run bingo trainer" or "review my rack games", those appear at the top and you can tap them instead of typing the full request again.
Knowledge Base — Ask Lex Anything About Scrabble
Beyond game reviews and training drills, Lex is a walking Scrabble encyclopedia. You can ask about tournament rules, official dictionaries, highest-scoring words by length, top bingo words, defensive strategies, tile distributions, and much more. It draws from comprehensive knowledge of both SOWPODS and TWL dictionaries.
Tournament Knowledge: Ask about how Scrabble tournaments work, rating systems, clock management, challenge rules, and what to expect at your first competitive event.
High-Scoring Words: "What are the highest-scoring 3-letter words?" "Best 5-letter words with Q?" "Top bingo stems?" Lex knows the answer instantly for any word length or letter combination.
Strategy Deep-Dives: Ask about rack management, when to exchange tiles, how to play defensively, opening move theory, endgame technique, or any other strategic topic. Lex explains concepts with examples.
Rules Clarification: Unsure about blank tile rules, challenge procedures, or whether a specific word is valid? Lex provides authoritative answers with context on why the rule exists.

Putting It All Together — A Typical Coaching Session
Here is what a real session with Lex looks like. You played the Daily Rack Challenge this morning and scored 28 points. Decent, but you suspect you missed something bigger. You head to Activities, click the Lex button on the Daily Rack panel, and land in the chat with your rack history pre-loaded.
Lex immediately tells you: "From AEILNRT you played RETAIN for 28 points. Good word, but you missed LATRINE (42 points) and TRENAIL (42 points) — both valid bingos using all 7 tiles." It explains the anagramming pattern you missed and suggests you add both words to your Memory WordBench. Then it offers to run a Bingo Trainer session with similar racks to practise the pattern.
You accept, run three rounds of the Bingo Trainer, score 2 out of 3, and Lex identifies that you struggle with -INE endings. It suggests a focused study list and offers to generate a coaching PDF summarising the session. You hit download, save the report locally, and now you have a concrete practice plan for tomorrow.
💡 The Improvement Loop
Play → Review with Lex → Identify weaknesses → Drill in Dojo → Download PDF plan → Play again tomorrow with new knowledge. This feedback loop is what turns casual players into competitive ones. And every step happens in one place — no spreadsheets, no separate apps, no note-taking. Lex handles it all.
