Q-Without-U Strategy
Play QI immediately: Don't wait for a better option. QI on a Double Word Score is 22 points. On a Triple Letter for the Q, it's 31 points. Deploy it fast.
Target I tiles on the board: If there's an I already placed, you can play Q next to it to form QI without using your own I tile. This is a power move.
QOPH for premium squares: At 18 points base, QOPH on a Double Word Score becomes 36. Look for 4-letter slots near DWS tiles.
Exchange as last resort: If no Q-without-U word fits after careful board inspection, exchange. Holding Q for 3+ turns costs you more in lost rack flexibility than the 10 points it's worth.
