Strategy for Space Words

QUASAR is a premium Q play: Unlike QI (11pts in 2 tiles), QUASAR uses 6 tiles for 15 points with better board coverage. The double-A requirement is easily met since A is the most common tile.

GALAXY deploys X+Y together: When holding both X=8 and Y=4, GALAXY converts them into 14 points. Supporting tiles (G, A, L, A) are all common — this combination is realistic to draw.

ZENITH stacks Z+H: Z=10 and H=4 combine for 14 of ZENITH's 18 total points. The remaining tiles (E, N, I, T) are among the most common in the bag.

💡 Key Insight

Space words provide premium tile deployment options. QUASAR handles Q, GALAXY pairs X+Y, and ZENITH combines Z+H. These words solve high-value tile placement when standard short words aren't available on the board.
